What is the wagaya Event?

The wagaya event is designed to offer foreign residents in Japan opportunities for cultural and social exchange necessary for everyday life, thereby promoting the creation of a better multicultural society.
In cooperation with local governments and real estate companies across Japan, we aim to host large-scale events that represent the concept of “Japan × Foreigners.”

Event Name: 【wagaya Japan】 Japanese Cultural Experience Event at Kiyosumi Gardens

Date: Sunday, September 7, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Venue: Kiyosumi Gardens – Ryōtei (Traditional Pavilion)

Activities: Experience Japanese culture (Matcha tea, Dango making, Personalized fan writing, Origami, etc.)

Target Participants: Foreign residents who have been in Japan for less than 2 years

Participation Fee: Free

Capacity: First 30 applicants only
